Program Details
Are all courses online?

Yes, all programs are entirely online.

Are the online programs accredited?

Yes, Michigan Tech’s online master’s programs are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.

What are the requirements for the online MS programs?

For the MS in Civil Engineering or MS in Electrical Engineering, hold an ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in engineering.

For the MS in Applied Statistics, hold a bachelor’s degree (STEM Degree is best aligned):

  • Submit transcripts
  • Include a resume
  • Submit a personal statement
  • Submit a Statement of Purpose
  • Provide two letters of recommendation (one academic preferred, but not required)
  • GRE not required
How much do the programs cost?

The engineering programs cost $1,143 per credit hour.*

The Applied Statistics program costs $1,007 per credit hour.*
