Are all courses online?

Yes, all programs are entirely online.

Are the online engineering programs accredited?

Yes, Michigan Tech’s online postgraduate engineering programs are accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.

What are the requirements for the online Master of Science in Civil Engineering and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering programs?

To qualify for the MSCE and MSEE programs, prospective students must:

  • Hold an ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Submit transcripts
  • Include a resume
  • Submit a personal statement on interest in the program
  • Submit a Statement of Purpose
  • Provide two letters of recommendation (one academic preferred, but not required)
  • GRE not required
How much do the programs cost?

Both programs cost $1,143 per credit hour.*
